The Rivendell Clem Smith Jr. Frameset is Rivendell's most accessible frame — a fat-tire, rack-and-fender-friendly, joyously upright bicycle built for riders who want the Rivendell philosophy without the Rivendell price tag. Wide-tyred, stable, and designed for real-world riding, the Clem Smith Jr. is as capable as it is comfortable.

The lower price point comes from one honest compromise: most of the joints are TIG-welded rather than lugged, which significantly reduces construction time. But don't let that fool you — these are made by the same builders, with the same materials, as the more expensive Rivendell frames. And the Clem Smith Jr. is far from plain: it features a strong wide fork crown, napkin-ring reinforcement lugs at the headtube, and a beautifully designed seat lug that sets it apart from any generic steel frame.

Available in Vince Blue and Sergio Green, with five sizes spanning 650b and 700c wheel compatibility. Expected to arrive early fall.
