Ride with a tree in your hands. The La Mad 1919 Cork Grips are made from natural cork sourced from sustainably managed forests — no synthetic compounds, no sticky residue, no compromises. Finally, grips that don't get tacky.

Cork is naturally waterproof, lightweight, and elastic. It doesn't absorb sweat, it doesn't degrade with heat, and it stays comfortable on long rides. The 1919s are 100% recyclable and biodegradable. When they're done, they go back to the earth.

Made in Portugal and finished in France by La Mad, a cooperative of professionals building bikes, trailers, and components locally and sustainably, with an open-source approach. The 1919 grips are released under the CERN-OHL-S V2.0 open-source licence.
